I called Bob on a Saturday morning after getting shafted by another electrician. Bob communicated very clearly and professionally to me how soon he could be out to my home to take a look at my electrical issue. I was out of state at the time and Bob was prompt, professional and courteous. He called me several times to keep me posted on his progress. The other guy - GONE. Bob & Lighthhouse Electric is now my GOTO electrician!!! Heath, Manlius, NY

We found Bob and Dee on thumbtack. They did an upgrade on our electrical system. Both are very professional and efficient. I feel there pricing was very good. They are good listeners and willing to work with you on any electrical issues you have. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

A breaker went bad in my electrical panel and I needed someone to come right away to take a look because I feared it was a fire hazard. I called a few places around town but Lighthouse got back to me right away and arranged to come later that afternoon. They cane pretty soon after my call and were able to repair the issue quickly and were very thorough in checking that there weren't any other issues. Service was very affordable especially for a last minute repair.

These guys are great. I called Lighthouse after the power went out in my kitchen for an emergency call, expecting I'd have to wait awhile. They came over immediately (I realize this isn't always possible, but they were headed towards my area anyway, so it was like 15 minutes). Long story short: after they fixed the problem in the kitchen, they showed me all the jerry-rigging the former owner had done — not just in the kitchen, but in other places as well (read: competence, thoroughness, and patience on their part). I had them come back two more times to install new outlets and wiring throughout my home. They were/are super busy, but somehow they found the time. The owner, Bob, knows his trade inside-out, including what all the codes are, and takes genuine pride in his work, which is pretty hard to find these days. Both he and his son are professional to a tee. I would recommend them to anyone, and definitely plan to avail myself of their services again in the future. Five stars!

We can’t say enough good things about this company. Firstly, I want to say that Bob was the first one to answer the phone (I tried 3 other “highly rated” companies before him- no answer and no callback) Bob was very kind and amazing with communication. He sent his son Ron over right away. After lots of troubleshooting and explaining everything they were doing, they got the job completed by the end of the next day. Absolutely great father-son team- they gave us amazing service and care and a lot of laughs to boot! We highly recommend Lighthouse Electric!!

At our home in Baldwinsville, NY, Bob replaced our riser service, moved the meter from inside to outside, replaced the fuse panel with a breaker panel and upgraded the service from 100A to 200A. Bob was always very professional, explained everything in great detail and kept us posted every step of the way. The job was completed when promised and with excellent workmanship....and with absolutely no financial surprises. Thank you!

I highly recommend calling Lighthouse Electric for any work you need done or questions. Great work & reasonably priced. I called Lighthouse Electric recently due to power flickering in my house in Clay, NY. Bob came out the same day, after some investigation it was determined that I should replace my service entrance cable, meter box, and main panel. They were very corroded due to old age deterioration and becoming a fire hazard. Everything was explained very well & I was shown exactly why and what needed to be done. All coordination for getting the permit, national grid disconnect, inspector, etc were handled for me. On the scheduled day they showed up on time and got to work. Everything went well - the new cable, meter box, and panel look tidy and the power in my home is 100%. After the work was complete they cleaned up the work area as well. During the entire process I was asked many times if I had any questions and everything was explained well. Overall I'm very happy and will call them first for any future electric work I need.

Highly recommend Bob and the rest of the Lighthouse team. We called them for a few outlets that had stopped working, and in treating that issue, uncovered a number of others. Though the work expanded exponentially beyond what we anticipated, they were very clear about what was going on and thorough in troubleshooting the issues. I feel comfortable knowing that everything was done right this time around given their experience and expertise. Pictures show what our panel looked like prior to their arrival and how neatly organized they left the replacement.
